Cobra built in approximately 1976 in California, using many original Cobra parts. Built on a 1965-1970 thunder bird chassis using an original 7ltr big block Ford 428 Cobra engine – with three, three barrels Holley carburetor’s, mated to a 3 speed Hurst automatic/manual gear box. 
 
There are many original Cobra parts on the vehicle namely, the engine, some badging, steering wheel and various other parts. 
 
The car was registered in the UK in 1988 and we believe it was imported then. It had a small amount of use before it went into storage for 20+ years. On recommissioning the vehicle had all new brakes, starter, water pump, steering rack and various other parts were replaced, all receipts available to view.
 
It benefits from full wet weather gear, including full hood plus tonneau cover. There is rear air adjustable height suspension. The clock shows 8100 miles, last MOT’d summer 2023 and a new MOT will be supplied upon purchase. 
 
The engine noise is insane, and the power is incredible. A real head turner in New York blue. All body panels are in fibre glass but very thick and quite heavy. Everything works as it should and will make a great summer toy. 
 
The vehicle is in totally original condition. There are very few V8, 7ltr Ford 428s available in the UK and again only adds to its rarity.
 
The car looks and sounds amazing and is driving at its rawist form. No computer, no aids, just sheer adrenalin every time you turn the key. It will be an experience for any lucky owner!
